Delete your account
Two ways to permanently delete your Rostermaxx account and the data we hold on you. Both wipe the same things on the same timeline — pick whichever is easier.
Option 1 — From inside the app (fastest)
- Open Rostermaxx and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account.
- Confirm by typing the prompted phrase, then tap Delete Account.
- You'll be signed out immediately. The full erase finishes within 30 days.
Option 2 — Request by email (if you can't log in)
Email us from the address tied to your account so we can verify it's you:

What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, birthday, photos, preferences)
- Every person you logged: positions, scores, notes, photos, gallery
- Every date entry: place, rating, mood, cost, notes
- Milestones, bucket list items, trips, and dating analytics
- Calendar events and planned dates
- Couples-mode shared data, if any
- Market discovery interactions, bids, and any AI-generated insights
- Authentication credentials (email/password, OAuth links)
- Push notification tokens
What we retain (and why)
A few minimal records stay on file after deletion. These are required by law or to protect both sides from billing disputes — they cannot identify you in the app:
- Financial records tied to past Pro subscription payments (kept by our payment processor, Stripe, for 7 years — required by US tax and accounting law).
- Anonymized aggregate metrics (e.g., "X users signed up in March") that don't reference you individually.
- Security and abuse logs (IP addresses tied to past sign-ins) retained for up to 90 days for fraud protection, then deleted.
Timeline
Your account becomes inaccessible immediately when you confirm deletion. The full backend purge — across primary database, backups, and cached copies — completes within 30 days.
Subscription cancellation
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active Rostermaxx Pro subscription if you paid via web/Stripe. Cancel from Settings → Plan → Manage subscription before deletion, or email us and we'll cancel it for you as part of the deletion request.
